RULES [04 Feb 2010|11:24am]
The rules are pretty standard. Be nice. Don't kick puppies. Details below.

» Check the taken list and set up a journal (journal name must be related to your character's name). We do require a first entry/bio, please keep that in mind. We're not expecting the next Great American Novel, but if you feel like writing it- knock yourself out. We also require you to provide us with examples. Whether you have an examples journal or PM us the required amount (2 scenes, 2 entries), it is mandatory for consideration into the community.

» No more than two PBs per person, please.

» You must update at least once every THREE weeks and show that you're participating through comments, signing on to AIM & setting up & responding to threads. Commenting first welcoming posts is a must! Also, we are not responsible for letting you know it's time for you to update. Please keep track of when you are due to update. Those that are inactive are subject to removal.

» The standard OOC/IC rules apply. If you break the OOC/IC rule, you will be removed from the community. Simple as that.

» Your application will be rejected if your UN has absolutely nothing to do with your character's name and if you have not followed the application rules correctly. No x's, o's, excessive underscores or numbers in the journal name, please. Don't forget to create an AIM screen name for your character, it must be related to your character's first or last name in some way. If you don't have an AIM screen name at time of application, you will be rejected.

» If you're not accepted, please understand that your application can be deleted without an explanation. If you are accepted, you'll be added to the community and sent approvals for the subcommunities. Please make an introduction post so people will know you're here, and place all OOC matter behind a lj-cut. If you don't know how to lj-cut, please contact a moderator & we'll be happy to help you!

» You must add the DISCLAIMER as your website and your UI must tell somewhere if you are AIM, thread, or both. This will help you out when it comes to being active. Trust us, it works like a charm!

» Please know that the mods are approachable. If there's any problem at all, we are here to help! Feel free to PM us, or to make a post and ask us to sign onto the moderator screen name. There are times of the day when a moderator is not available to be online, so please keep that in consideration & we will get to you as soon as we possibly can. We will do our best to keep this community as pleasant as possible for the members, as well as keep it fun for all involved! That's what this game is all about, after all!

» If you need a hiatus/extension, let us know that you need either one (either via PM or ask the moderator to sign on). Please note that we will not accept a placeholder as a way of saying you need an extension, nor do we accept placeholders for updates.

» We honor overrides. If there is a PB on our taken list that has their last update on calendar that's past three weeks and we haven't removed them yet, you are more than welcome to apply and override them.

» Removals are done every two weeks, adds are done twice a week. It is not our responsibility to tell you when to update your character, but we will be posting the dates of removals so you can be sure to update before the deadline. If your character is removed TWICE for inactivity, you may not reapply to the community.

» Last but not least - HAVE FUN!
